We're switching off

On Saturday 30 March 2019 we're switching off our weekly fireworks for Earth Hour and turning off lights in our iconic glass dome. That means no fireworks will light up the sky this weekend.

We're joining millions in Australia and across the globe in sending a strong united message to protect our extraordinary Earth.

In fact, Australia alone is home to some of the world’s most iconic and breathtaking natural landscapes and wildlife. But climate change is putting all this at risk. To protect their unique species and their habitats, they need Australia to step up now and take stronger action on the promise they made at the 2015 Paris Agreement.

So will you be joining this global movement and switching off your lights? If so register at

Did you know? By signing up to switch off, you also have the chance to go into the draw to win an Intrepid Travel trip to Western Australia and Ningaloo Reef.

Thanks for making the switch!
